Fix Income Plans

What is Fix Income Plans?

A type of investing or budgeting style for which real return rates or periodic income is received at regular intervals at reasonably predictable levels. Fixed-income budgeters and investors are often one and the same - typically retired individuals who rely on their investments to provide a regular, stable income stream. This demographic tends to invest heavily in fixed-income investments because of the reliable returns they offer.

Instruments for the Fixed Income:

Fixed Deposit :

A fixed deposit is a financial instrument provided by Indian banks & private companies which provides investors with a higher rate of interest than a regular savings account, until the given maturity date. It may or may not require the creation of a separate account.

Bonds/ NCDs:

Bonds/ NCDs: A debt investment in which an investor loans money to an entity (corporate or governmental) that borrows the funds for a defined period of time at a fixed interest rate. Bonds are used by companies, municipalities, states govt. and Central govt. to finance a variety of projects and activities.

FMP (Fixed Maturity Plans):

Simply put, FMPs are the mutual fund industry’s version of FDs. Over time. They have established a place in the portfolios of debt fund investors. Savvy investors sometimes do away with FDs and replace them with FMPs. Fixed Maturity Plans are great investment options and are highly tax efficient.
